New Partner in the management of VGD Hungary
Viktor Szabó to lead the Tax and Payroll division of the consulting firm as a Partner from 2024 onwards.
Viktor Szabó will continue his career at VGD Hungary as a Partner from 1st January 2024. Viktor is an economist, a certified tax expert, who joined VGD Hungary in 2019 as Tax & Payroll Director, responsible for the coordination of payroll tasks in addition to the tax consulting business. Under his leadership, the divisions have experienced significant development, achieving outstanding growth in both client portfolio and revenue.
Viktor Szabó has gained extensive experience in the field of domestic and international tax consulting. He regularly represents VGD Hungary at national and international events and tax working groups, in consultation forums of social organisations and authorities. In 2022 he was elected as a member of the Nexia BG Corporate Tax Core Group, representing the Hungarian CIT tax areas in the international organisation. In 2023, Viktor has also been elected as a member of the Nexia BG Tax Technology Core Group, supporting Nexia International's work in the field of tax technology.
He is a member of the Business and Management Skills Council under the operation of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a board member of the JVSZ Transparent Finance & Tax & Law Professional Forum, and has also taken an active role in the NAV working groups for preliminary consultation on the implementation of tax administration and innovative tax technology solutions.
Viktor's appointment as Partner will further strengthen the business development processes in the tax advisory and payroll area of VGD Hungary. His focus will continue to be on providing clients with the most optimal and efficient tax solutions using the latest digital tools, as well as introducing personalized services.
