MAY 2022 – EU Diversity Month

As a responsible employer, VGD Hungary is committed to equal treatment, providing workplace culture that gives all employees equal development opportunities and supports both individual and collective success.

This is based on our open approach and rejection of all forms of exclusion. The open mindset of VGD Hungary's owner-partners is the example by which all our colleagues understand that their advancement opportunities are determined by their performance, not their age, gender, or personal background. In addition to our "open door" policy, we pay special attention to the way we interact with each other, expecting mutual respect and appreciation, acknowledging each other's work, and encouraging conversations beyond professional communication to get to know each other better through joint programmes.

Accepting and implementing diversity requires conscious action and regular sensitisation, which is why we think it is important to join this action, because through a conscious campaign we can raise awareness of the importance of inclusion and acceptance.

May is the EU-wide celebration of European Diversity Month. Companies and organisations across Europe are being invited to join the European Commission's initiative and put the spotlight on diversity in the workplace by organising events and activities.
