VGD Hungary Kft. has won the title of "Reliable Employer" by DUIHK

The 18 member companies of the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DUIHK) were awarded the title of “Reliable Employer 2020/21”, among them VGD Hungary Kft. was among the winners for the first time this year. Since 2017, the title has been awarded by DUIHK to companies that meet a set of criteria developed by a professional jury for working and social conditions provided to employees.

The initiative aims to encourage employers to create an employee-friendly environment while strengthening the labor market position of award-winning companies in both employee retention and recruitment, thus facilitating “employer branding” efforts.

This year's winners were announced at DUIHK's online membership meeting, on this occasion Gabriel A. Brennauer, CEO of DUIHK, stressed that awarding the title requires constant care from companies, as the award always only entitles them to use the title for two years.

Applicant companies are required to report in detail on corporate practices and the underlying policies in seven areas related to human resource management. The high level of requirements is indicated by the fact that some applicants did not meet their expectations, including the recommendations of the jury, so the awarding of the prize is even more important in this strong competition.
