Gyöngyi Ferencz is a registered auditor and tax advisor who founded VGD Hungary in 2001. Following the company’s merger, she has been the managing partner of HLB Hungary Kft. since 1 January 2025.
Throughout her more than 25-year career, she has been actively involved in both national and international auditing and taxation. She gained her international auditing experience during several professional placements in Switzerland. She possesses expertise in IFRS, German GAAP, and US GAAP standards.
Her clients include large Hungarian corporations as well as international corporate groups operating in a wide range of industries. Gyöngyi has particularly extensive experience in the automotive and electronics sectors, as well as in trade and real estate development.
Her areas of responsibility include statutory audits of annual financial statements in accordance with both domestic and international standards, financial due diligence, business valuation, audits required by corporate law (e.g. for transformations), and financial and tax advisory related to mergers and acquisitions.
Gyöngyi is fluent in both German and English and in addition to her operational duties actively supports the work of several social and professional organizations.
